Fall in Seoul: Family Photoshoot

Fall is truly my favourite season in Seoul. There is something so special about Fall;  the cooler temperatures, crisp and vivid colours, the delicious, simmering Korean stews, the stylish fall jackets and boots strolling through the streets. It really is an exceptional time to be living in the busy, fast-paced city of Seoul. We try our best to get out and explore in this season, when the dust levels are low, because the weather and surroundings make it so worthwhile. As a Canadian girl, I had never experienced a full 3 (sometimes 4) month fall before. In Ottawa, we are lucky to get over a month of Fall weather, because as soon as it starts to get cooler, the temperatures drop to freezing very quickly. I think this is why I appreciate Fall so much in Seoul.

Having my parents in town for our Korean wedding last month, was the perfect opportunity for us to explore what this season had to offer here this year. We also wanted to commemorate our time together with a fall photoshoot. The first of several (I hope) in the coming years of life together. The only people missing were my sister and her partner, who could not make the trip this time, but I am sure that they will be in future family photoshoots to come! We are also really looking forward to having a few days together in Saskatchewan over the holidays for our Canadian wedding!

Here are some of my favourite photos from the shoot that have come out beautifully.

Wishing everyone a happy, cozy and colourful fall wherever you are!
